Breathe deeply. Breathe fully. Be still. Be silent. Be centered. Be grounded. Lighten up. Loosen up. Let go. Let God. Celebrate. Enjoy. Be glad all over. |

The Bible says: + "You do not need to do anything; you do not need to leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. You do not even need to listen; just wait. You do not even need to wait; just become still, quiet and solitary and the world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked. It has no choice. It will roll in ecstasy at your feet." -- Franz Kafka There is no way to abundance. Abundance is the way. God wants us to enjoy the abundance of creation. Most of us don't enjoy it anywhere near fully. Jesus said: I have come to bring you life, and life in its' fullness. We limit ourselves immensely. Abundance is here now. It is always here now. It can only be appreciated in the here and now moment. The future hasn't come yet. The past is over. In THE HANDBOOK TO HIGHER CONSCIOUSNESS, Ken Keyes wrote "The Twelve Pathways to Higher Consciousness." Pathway #4 is: "I always remember that I have everything I need to enjoy my here and now -- unless I am letting my consciousness be dominated by demands and expectations based on the dead past or the imagined future." Keyes' "Living Love" methods speak directly to the process of transforming scarcity belief into abundance belief. We always have it all! God is Love. The whole creation is filled with Love. There is an abundance of Love and all that Love creates. We are blessed with an abundance of Love and all that Love creates moment after moment after heavenly moment. God is everywhere. Love is everywhere. There is an abundant supply of Love. We all need Love. We all can give Love. The more we give, the more we receive. There is an endless supply of Love so we can give it away freely. Giving Love freely is the key to opening the door to heaven where abundance is the rule. This is what we need to believe. The more we believe this, the more this becomes real. Any abundance that is not for every one is a false abundance. We need to develop a shared and sustainable abundance everywhere. Why did President Bush finally say in the State of the Union address of 2006 that "we are addicted to oil"? Here's my answer: Because he is becoming more and more aware of the failure of an American foreign policy promoting riches for some and not all. Iran turned against us. Saudi Arabia is no sure thing. Venezuela has turned against us. Iraq may soon turn against us (again) as they elect religious zealots in the so called democracy we have fought for over there. Ecuador has now turned against us, too. Nigeria is no sure thing. I think I have covered most of the known oil reserves in the world with that list. We either have to be convinced to enlarge our military even more than we already have (now more than half of the total military expenses of the whole planet) or we need to make it a national priority to develop alternative energy and reduce our use of oil by improving mass transit and by regulating the automobile industry so that it is forced to use the technology it already has developed to give us far more efficient automobiles. I am for the latter because I think it will create a cleaner environment, create jobs and, best of all, stop all the killing we have been doing around the planet. Even better, maybe we could get over the selfishness and greed which has dominated our culture in recent decades. (I wrote this in my Journal on 2/8/06 -- revised 9/28/06)
